Oh, so many stressful things happening... In all likelihood, all the change is going to make life better and more comfortable, but change is change. And stress, even for good reasons is stress. The key, for me, is how I approach it. And my mantra has become GO BOLD!
We had such a tough year in 2013. By the end of it, we decided it was time to try something really different. We needed to create opportunities (by opening ourselves to the prospect of moving for jobs and family, etc) And at the same time, I decided I was completely fed up with being tired, overweight, and overwhelmed. I knew it was time to go bold, and commit to some big goals. The difference this time was that bold did not mean making gigantic, unsustainable commitments, but rather, making some small changes that I could stick to...and then making a few more...and then a few more....
I realized that this was the way I could achieve what I was really after, and make it last. I did it with my job search and I did it with my health and fitness.
Being bold about putting my health and wellness first has helped me manage everything better. So, as I face this next challenge (moving house again), I have to apply that logic. Step by step, with determination and persistence. Its my new bold.
