Sweating During A Pool Workout?

I did a deep water aerobics class this morning. We started the class by swimming six laps at an easy pace to warm up our muscles and joints. The teacher increased the intensity level of the class with every task. As we progressed, the teacher had us complete sprint laps between the different exercises. We also did treading for 30 seconds, while holding a noodle overhead. We alternated the treading with bursts of very fast jumping jacks. We did three rounds and I could feel the burn at the end of round three! During the deep water class, the participant continuously moves through the water for 60 minutes. ( I don't wear a flotation belt, so I have to stay moving or drown! ) At the height of our aerobic push, I felt something running down my face. It was sweat! Normally, I think of swimming as a cool sport and I feel refreshed when I am finished. Today, my scalp was all wet from perspiration yet the water was cool enough to keep me from overheating. It was an odd sensation to be sweaty yet not overheated.
