Vacation Setbacks

I haven't written in a bit - just got back from vacation. Had a really good time, but I absolutely hated the way I ate. When you need to follow a budget, when you don't have access to your usual kitchen tools (even though you had a mini kitchen), it's just so easy to eat what's convenient.

Now that I'm home, all I want is homemade foods. I want real foods. I'm looking forward to getting back into a routine again. I'm going to weigh in tomorrow and see what the damage is. Got in this morning, so knew better than to weigh today. I could really feel the fluid retention after being on the plane.

I hope that this fall I can get going on a much healthier diet. My goal is to eat more real food, and much less processed food.

    Good for you! I think we all must find a way to continue on but we also are living a real life that includes vacations, birthdays, weddings, family gatherings etc.
    It is wonderful that you missed the good healthy stuff!
