You don't lose the game unless you quit trying.

Wow, has it been 6 months since I've written here? My how time flies. I've been struggling with health & fitness these last 6 months. I've been in WW the whole time, and committed to stay (I've joined a couple times before and quit after a few to several months). I continue to struggle with food though; I feel ridiculously addicted to sugar, but I also eat chips, cheeseburgers and fries, so it's not just the one addiction/weakness.

This morning I didn't bring breakfast to work (and I've been meaning to go back to hard-boiled eggs rather than low fat string cheese, but I still haven't actually boiled the eggs). :) So I went downstairs to the cafeteria, and lo' & behold, I found hard-boiled eggs and oatmeal, so I got it (instead of the usual biscuit breakfast sandwich that I love so). And I feel good having taken a small positive step and eaten something healthier (double whammy of feel good).

I'm also working on increasing my activity, and that's all about baby steps. I don't want to overdue it and hurt myself or burn myself out (as usual, in prior exercise attempts). I'm surprised to see how much short, 10-minute walks throughout the day really do add up.

So I continue to move forward. You don't lose the game unless you quit trying. So I continue to try. Baby steps.
