Run for God

I survived the first night of waddling along. Met a nice lady my height and with about the same stride I have, so we walked/jogged/waddled together. The study portion of the class was really good too. Not too sore today, so I guess a stretched out good enough after the cool down. I was a bit worried about that. The beginning routine seems easy enough.

Walk for 5 minutes to warm up.
Alternate walking for 90 seconds and jogging for 60 seconds 8 times.
Walk for 5 minutes to cool down.
Stretch

We are suppose to do this on our own twice during the week. Since we have something on the agenda every night this week, I'm going to try to get up extra early on Tues and Thurs mornings to do it. Wish me luck! I am NOT a morning person.

I'm a bit pouty today, because the battery in my fitbit zip died, and I can't get the back off to change it. We've tried everything, but just can't get it to budge. Sent an email to customer support, but I doubt they'll do anything about it. I'm considering getting the Spark activity tracker if I have to buy a new one any way. I love my Zip, but get tired of having to change the battery every 4-6 weeks. Those little things aren't exactly cheap.

Do any of you use the Spark activity tracker? Can you tell me honestly what you think of it, and how long the battery lasts?

On the upside, our soccer team won tonight, 5-1!
