Trainer day so I headed out to get my warm up done before Rocky arrived.
He switched things up on me again so my muscles would be tricked and I am expecting some sore spots by morning for sure! My victory today.... survived 3 sets (each side) of 30 second side planks at the end of the 30 minutes!
Once home we got started on school and I was researching some info I'd seen about essential oils for headaches/migraines and ran across one that mentioned a sinus infection and as we'd been focused on Maegann's eyes being a bother since last week we were just thinking "eyes/glasses". I then asked her if her cheeks hurt when I pressed on them and goodness they did! Packed things up and headed to quick care and sure enough...sinus infection. She's now on antibiotics even though we'd all prefer not, but they will hit it the quickest and she's been miserable for way too long already.
Next up was our in-home counseling appointment and I can honestly say for the first time that it was the best session we've experienced. He had us visually showing how we see the relationships within the family and it was interesting. Most of us showed Isaac furthest away as far as how we get along and he showed that I am right next to him. Totally a shock to me as that is not how it feels in the house at all. I feel like I am pushed to the edge of the cliff and that isn't far enough away. Good information.
In the afternoon Isaac had time with Kenzie for physical therapy. After I dropped him off I went to two pharmacies (I should have thought about that when I was getting Maegann's filled this morning.) and then to the grocery store to buy a chicken as I had forgotten to leave one out for supper tonight. Then I got busy getting the finances updated before spending some time Sparking.
One thing that definitely needed done here at Spark was for the BL challenge as it is Emerald's day to gather starting weights.
We've been waiting for the official start day so now we're off and running for the 10-week Fall Fitness Frenzy!
Tonight I'm just hanging out watching "Say Yes to the Dress-Bridesmaids" while Sparking and checking email. Outside the hubby is getting the roof put on the yard shed!
Getting so much closer to getting our garage emptied out and that is good timing as the cooler weather is kicking in soon and we want to park in the garage instead of scrape frost/ice!
Tomorrow: School and then nothing on the calendar until evening when Maegann and I head out for "Girl's Night Out."
I must remember ear plugs for the Skillet concert! LOL I do like a lot of their music and that I can take Maegann to hear her favorite Christian band makes me very happy. Next week will be "Mom/Son Night Out" and he's chosen gluten-free pizza night at Smoky Mountain.
