Enjoying a quiet day at home and considering a nap just so I can make it through the late evening easier although "sleeping" through a Skillet concert sounds less than likely.
Made it through school this morning with some bumps in the road for Isaac. We've gone to a list that he wrote himself so he can be reminded each day what a "good" school day looks like and then also what the positives and negatives are depending on what choices are made. Unfortunately today he received the negatives. We've had much worse days, but I will say it is SO helpful having the list of consequences in his own writing and words as it takes the "mean" off of me as I'm just following his list.
I decided to make homemade pizza for lunch (it was yummy) was I haven't done that for awhile and thought it might turn Isaac's attitude around. So far it appears to have worked.
Now I'm trying to watch The Biggest Loser online, but it keeps stalling during some of the ads so I keep closing the browser and going back in. So far I am really liking the two new trainers and the contestants are good choices. I wasn't a fan last season and even quit watching the show. This season I couldn't even get the the hubby to be interested so I'm enjoying it on my own.
Only have a couple of hours before we head out for the evening. Figure we need to be at the event center around 6 to be in line as this place doesn't have the best type of seating (not an arena) and Maegann would like a good spot and I'd like a chair. LOL The doors don't open until 7 and the concert begins at 8. Packing my largest tote/purse so we have room for noise reduction headphones and whatever else we want with us for the wait.
I am also babying my left leg today as the tendonitis has flared on that foot and there is also some miniscus pain happening again. Nothing horrid, but I need to work on both, but know tonight will undo a lot of today's rest. Thankful I've got a good weekend to "rest" before co-op hits Monday and then training on Tuesday. I'll get there!
Tomorrow.... gym, Bountiful Basket, a few groceries, cleaning bathrooms and then rest.
