Supreme 90 Dvds

I am 3 days away from finishing Supreme 90 and so I figured I would give a little review. I found my set at Ollies Discount Outlet for about $8.00 whereas when I looked it up online to see how much it was other places it looked to be about $20.
It came with a pack of dvds, I think 10 or more. You will need a few different sizes of dumbbells, a stability ball and possibly a mat. My dumbbells went from 5, 8, 10, 12, and 15 but I don't have anything heavier. If you were fitter/more muscular you could probably go heavier.
The workout calendar tells you what workout to do on exactly each day. Since I had to take extended breaks I just put stars on the days as I did them so I knew where to resume.
Alot of the dvds are strength based workouts that you do several circuits in. For example, chest/back, Legs, arms/shoulders, biceps and back, triceps and chest. The warm-ups and cool down is the same for each and every dvd so if you get bored easily, that might be a problem. But he tries to make it so you get to do different workouts each month and different exercises.
In almost each dvd there is a different core warm-up circuit but there are also core workout dvds included like Core Dynamics and Ultimate Ball. I liked that he included the ball exercises because I had a stability ball and never had a dvd that actually used one. So that was quite challenging and new. But with lots of bruises from falling off said ball...
There were two cardio centered workouts-Tabata and Cardio Challenge. If you never really did Tabata stuff, like me, it will be challenging!!
I think that overall anyone could probably do these workouts even if they are just starting out. You can always adjust the weights to be lighter or heavier as you need. During the cardio, you would just do fewer of the things. Like in Cardio challenge he gives you an exercise and has you do it for 30 seconds so you might only get 5 of those exercises because you go slower than the people on the dvd. It could be easily changed for whatever you need.
It came with a meal plan but I really didn't follow it. Foodwise I just made healthy choices and tried not to go overboard with eating. Especially in the summer...I've really had very little ice cream this summer. I had 6 single serving boxes in the freezer and still have 3 of those.
However I don't really think I lost much. As of this morning I am 190, though at one point I had weighed in at 186 so maybe its just water right now.
However I think that if I had much heavier weights and continued to do this program I would get stronger. In the beginning I was using 10 pound dumbbells for chest, back and bicep exercises but by the end I have been using 15 pound dumbbells for chest press and bent over rows, and 12 pound dumbbells for biceps. So either the program made me stronger or I was at that spot where I was ready to lift them because I didn't lift as heavy when I was doing Chalean Extreme.
