Today I was going to write about how I have 13 lbs to lose by Thanksgiving. I AM working on that!

I am already off my routine for the day. My youngest son has been sick with a cough and had trouble sleeping last night, combined with me not sleeping for 2 nights has got me pretty run down. I sit here writing taking note of how run down I feel and how I feel mucus in my chest and throat. My brain is fighting with itself. One part of it says get your behind on that bike and do it no matter what. The other part of my brain is trying to be sensible and says, take a nap this morning while everyone is gone for once then do your bike later. Brain also saying, as long as you get your bike in you will be fine, your body says rest.

So, I think I will listen to the rest part of my brain at this moment. I feel very weak and worn out. I am in hopes if I nap and have some fruit and water I will feel better and more up to tackling my hour long bike ride. I AM determined to get my ride in today because the weekend is tough to get a ride in for me.

Will write again later hoping to update that I rode today. emoticon


I managed to ride an hour, slower but still rode. Still not feeling the best. Trying to fight this bug going around. Hope it goes away soon.
