A victory for me!

I have been trying and trying to lower my blood sugar level. I exercise so that my body is more sensitive to insulin, I try to eat smaller portions, I try to keep my carb intake sensible, I do my best to get the sleep I need, and I drink half my weight in ounces of water each day. I could never get my fasting blood sugar down below 100 and lately it had been over 150 fasting.
Well, today, it was 74! That is an amazing number and really puts fuel in me to be productive today. Just an extra boost to move me forward! It may not happen every day, but it DID happen today! And I am going to celebrate it within.
Last nights dinner was half an acorn squash with meatloaf in the center. Had a side and water. No desert! I usually have an apple. I slept well although my nerves got the better of me and kept me up a little later than I should have but I ended up sleeping well.
Just sharing my non scale victory. It doesn't come around this well very often for me.
