My body is a temple.

And I should treat is as such.

Yesterday I was at a birthday party for my uncle. There was lots of good food there. I tried to eat some pasta, my body rejected it completely. I tried one bite and spit it out.... Disgusting... I had some chips with guacamole, and spinach dip, as well as some pineapple, and some chicken salad pinwheels.

Started getting this horrible headache. So me and my daughter left for home.
During the car ride, I almost threw up. I was confused and my vision was blurry. All symptoms of high BS. Took my BS when i got home and it was 128. Again, not overly high.... I am confused by these symptoms...

I tucked my daughter into bed, took my metformin and laid down on the couch so I didnt wake her up if I had to be sick. It took hours for my headache to go away... At 150 am i got up and laid in my own bed. Felt much better upon waking up.

Breakfast was coffee.

Had a bout of symptoms.... Dizzy, very hot, fuzzyheaded, and could feel my heartbeat in my head... Took my BS and it was 115. Not high at all. Where are these symptoms coming from. In about 5 minutes the feelings passed.

Lunch time! The office had food catered from drug reps. I had one plate of grilled mediterrainean veggies (asparagus, green beans, eggplant, carrots, spaghetti squash, yellow squash, and zuccini with a few white beans mixed in), then a plate of salad greens with pear, a few candied walnuts, and blue cheese, no dressing. And then I had 1.5 sausages, which I was too full to finish.

I was able to successfully ignore the stuffed shells. I think pasta is making me sick... O.o

And I have had cramps and diarrhea since I started taking the metformin, which the dr warned me could happen.

Craving soda for the bubbles and sweet, but i don't want to ruin the good Im doing for my body so water is just as good.

Last week, I was weighed after my previous journal entry, success! Lost 3 pounds in about a week!
