My mentality is not like all or nothing, but I try to get every day in between my range numbers, and some days create a little stress on me. And I find myself adding or taking off a little grams. Or making very small portions to complete the numbers that make me happy. I know , especially when we eat out , I have to modify my snacks or the next meal, some times I need food or I ate more than I needed. But I think is nothing DRASTIC, all is part of this never end learning.
