I made bread yesterday-----
Oh no------'cause I ate it!--Lord Love A Duck!
In fact, I had to go to bed early so I wouldn't eat anymore!
But I managed to survive the night--didn't starve to death--LOL
The Battle of the Fat continues on--
Good thing there is always a new day!

It is mild here-----
Spark a great day Sparkly people!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your bread looks good. I live in coastal N.C. The fire was on the island. All the people and businesses are pulling together to help the displaced and families of the deceased. This is my 3rd winter out of Iowa. Your thermometer reminds me how cold it gets. Have a great Wednesday

I bet that bread smelled great while it was baking & tasted even better than it smelled.

Enjoy a piece for me, Lynda! emoticon

My mother used to bake bread all the time! And I ATE it...LOTS of it. Yours looks like hers did...I loved it still warm where the butter MELTS into it! NO MORE!

You are a really good cook to make bread!

Have a blessed day, Lynda! emoticon emoticon emoticon

emoticon Too bad I need to get my passport renewed; otherwise you might find me on your doorstep looking for some of that delicious bread!!!! emoticon And don't feel bad about sampling it. No doubt I would have too. I love bread in any form but don't have it too often these days. I am still on the hunt for the bread that was used in one of my all time favorite sandwiches. We used to go this quaint tavern and the chef there made this open faced sandwich with roasted red peppers, dill Havarti cheese and champagne mustard on some sort of really dark bread (not sure if it was pumpernickel or Boston black bread or what) and then all of it put under the broiler. Truly yummy!!! I have attempted to recreate it with several different kinds of bread and while it is still good, just not as good as the one in the restaurant. I even tried oatmeal bread but that played havoc with my BS!! emoticon The tavern was in an old house not owned by the chef but he did own the restaurant, just was renting the space. So the goofballs who owned the house did not renew his lease and rented it to another restaurant group whose food is only so-so and the customers went elsewhere. Serves them right and proves there is justice in the world for greedy people!!! But oh do I ever miss that open faced sandwich. I used to eat half of it and bring the other half home for lunch the next day. And always had a side salad with it. Very healthy indeed!!! Now I am missing it even more!!! Why did I ever go into it in the first place. emoticon

Anyway enough of that!! Your bread really does look very yummy!!! I thought I smelled bread baking yesterday but maybe that was just one of my hallucinations. When they start talking to me, look out!!! emoticon

    Have a terrific Tuesday!!!

I don't think that there is ANYTHING more tempting than fresh baked bread (slathered with real butter, please!!) That's why when people are selling houses they buy frozen bread dough to bake just before the open house, right???

Good job in sending yourself to bed when you'd had your quota!!

Your bread looks wonderful! Good job!
Even though you ate your bread, think of the goodness you received from such nutritious fare - certainly better than eating something laden with chemicals and preservatives. Enjoy the fruits of your labors!
PS I admire that you could actually go to sleep to not eat anymore.
