So much has happened and I don't even know where to really start, but I just felt like checking in. It's crazy to think that I've been using this site for almost 7 years now, and I continue to utilize the tracker on my iPhone.
I am so happy to have found this site because this really was the best place for me to learn about nutrition, healthy weight loss and give me the ability to keep going with it. I know the statistics are high for 'relapse' when you lose weight, but I feel like I've beaten the odds. I lost the weight and I kept it off, healthfully, for so many years now.
I'm still maintaining the status quo -- still doing yoga regularly and still long-distance hiking on the regular. Still mostly vegetarian, though under doctor's orders I eat fish a couple times a week. I think having the same basic routine helps a lot, though I am not afraid of throwing caution to the wind once in awhile. My diet is probably around 80% healthy and 20% 'fun', though recently I've tried cutting down on added sugar and felt better for it.
