I got a FitBit!

(First of all, can't believe I have not blogged since January 1st, 2012. I didn't think it was that bad!)
Today, after checking in on SparkPeople and stuff, I started thinking of how to get back on track. I love technology, and after seeing I couldn't order the SP activity tracker, I started looking at iPhone apps I could use to track everything (steps, calories etc). Of course the FitBit app showed up, and I saw that you could track quite a lot with the actual app too. But then I went to the FitBit site, and just fell in love with the way they presented everything, like the Flex. I saw that a store called Clas Ohlson here in Oslo actually had a promotion on the Flex, and I decided to go there during lunch. And I bought one! Such an impulse shopper. Haha. They only had it in black but I ordered a navy armband from eBay just now. Oh online shopping you'll ruin me.. (Not really, I am not that bad. I got all my Christmas gifts online though!)
So yes - this is my Christmas gift to myself I guess! It'll hopefully motivate me to keep track of everything. I am also very curious about doing the sleep tracking because I have been really tired lately. Also the silent/vibrating alarm will be interesting because I wake up much easier to touch (ie someone waking me up) than just sound from my iPhone alarm.
I guess one thing I have to figure out (and would love tips about) is how I should integrate the FitBit fitness tracking into my cardio and ST minutes for the Biggest Loser challenge. I am sure it'll track more fitness minutes than I actually deserve... How do you all (who use FitBit) work it out? :)
