Day 2 of my streak!!!

I'm back, starting a cataloguing course today, and looking out at a beautiful snowy wonderland, I will go for a quick walk around the neighbourhood, it's very cold. I've gone back to a very simple way of eating, oatmeal with chia/maple syrup added, and blueberries for brek, a bagel,cheese, cruditees with hummus, and a bartlett pear for lunch, and ham, half of a baked potato, and mashed rutabaga for dinner. I had yogurt and walnuts for a snack.

I find that some days I eat over 2000 calories, some days around 1600, for an average of 1800 calories. I'd like to get it down to about 1700 calories next, and then 1600 from there. Less than 1500 calories and I can't maintain it. I would like to increase my walking by 15 min/day this week.

I take several trips up and down the stairs, I get up and walk around, or I walk in place while watching a video or talking on the phone. I haven't gone back to hoisting my free weights -- don't know when I will. I find that I go along great for a few weeks then I fall out of step, so this is become the norm. I'm not going to fight it, just do my best through it. It usually lasts for a week or two. So maybe it's fatigue or boredom or both. I'm going to track it on a calendar beside my desk, I need to continually see it. Maybe I'll put sparkly stickers when I do, I've got tons of them.
