I'm exhausted! Organizing is hard work! I started with a blank slate this morning in my work area, and began unloading bookshelves and stacking stuff on my counter and shelves while I tried to figure out the puzzle. I still have a lot to do and most of the container boxes are still empty.
I would have gotten a lot further today in the family room, but after I emptied the largest free standing shelf and having another go 'round with Isaac about cluttering his desk space so he starts bringing it all down to other table space I switched gears and had Tim help me haul the shelf upstairs to Isaac's room while he was home for lunch. After a trip to Target to buy storage container boxes Isaac and I headed to his room to start sorting and I had a huge box to throw stuff in that was no longer staying in his room. I later sorted that box again into two bags for the thrift store and one for the trash. I think this was a good project because Isaac showed excitement when I began putting labels everywhere.
Here's the closet:
And here is the other area we worked on.
It was already 5 p.m. and the kids were hungry and said, "Can we have pizza and you guys go to Mongolian?" Sounded good to me tonight! Now we're home and Tim is working on the sliding door in between the family room and the dining room and I'm watching a TV show while Sparking.
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day in the van. The schedule:
Trainer at 7:30
Chiropractor at 10
Isaac's counseling at 11:45
Dad's surgeon appointment at 1:45
Maegann's bible study at 3:45
