So close to the first goal....

Wednesday, January 21, 2015

So we got off around 10:30 tonight, very unusual for a Tuesday. So I told myself " self, you are going to the gym tonight". So with a pep on my step I changed into my workout clothes , grabbed my membership card and off I went! emoticon I got an hour in tonight. emoticon

My eating was also very much back on track today and nothing detailed me. I am so close to my first months goal I can taste it. I'll definitely be nervous come time to weigh in. Even though I did not eat the best for a few days, I'm not going to let myself go back into old habits.

So overall this week I have made it to the gym twice so far, I stuck to my eating plan and avoided pop. emoticon emoticon

I'm also very happy I will have two days off this week instead of one. I wasn't able to meal prep last weekend, but with my mom doing the journey with me, I don't have to worry about what's in the fridge or cabinets. Friday is payday and the weekend is going to be gym time, homework, and meal prepping. Then next month I will have to try to avoid all of the sweets that will come from my hunny for Valentine's day AND our 3 year anniversary. emoticon

Hope all is well!

You will hit your first month's goal! Keep working hard. It can be a struggle at times but think of how GREAT you will feel!

I can feel the butterflies in your stomach over making your goal for the month. One time that I did weight watchers I was .2 lbs away from a 10 lb milestone, told the lady at the weigh-in desk to not record it, went to the bathroom, peed, and came back and weighed in again just to hit the mark I was looking for. LOL. I look back on it and it seems silly now, but at that point I wanted to make my goal so badly that I probably would've stripped down naked in front of everybody in order to get that .2 lbs. So I definitely understand how you feel about being nervous.

Great job staying on plan and making it to the gym. And great job for the month. Even if you're a little bit off of your goal, reward yourself for being further than you were on January 1st. . . and don't get naked at the weigh in. ;)
