It's almost the end of January! Whoo hoo!
That means I have one more week to complete my January goals, pretty sure I have them in the bag though.
So this weekend was my first full weekend and I tried my best to make it fun. I even made it to the gym on Saturday after a day at the mall and a night at Dave & Busters for a friend's birthday party! I'd say that is an accomplishment on my part ha.
We were looking for bridesmaid dresses and all but one came up empty handed, but we tried on some ( in our opinion) ugly dresses. I went looking for one and found a size 13. Last time I tried on a dress playing around it was a 14 so I was a little concerned. It took a little shimmy since the waist was fitted but got it on and zipped no problem! I was surprised.
Sunday I got a late start but managed to go out to the mall to have my mom's Christmas gift resized, in which she has to call. Went to the farmers market and got food for my meal prep, got a new water bottle from a 5 Below, and got some nice clothes from Rue 21 and Marshalls. Went home did my school paper and after 2 hours of working on it my laptop decides to act up. After about an hour and talking to my brother I was finally able to finish it and turn it in. The only down side is I forgot to do my second reply for the week before midnight
. Hopefully my paper will make up for the points I will miss. I was so distracted by my meal prepping I lost track of time. However, I finally made a batch of muffins!
First time I've ever used applesauce and mashed fruit but they look yummy. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm still getting used to cooking a lot. I've known how to cook, but only from recipe so I've been getting creative and I start to fear my own cooking haha.
This past weekend I also found out all of my close friends has decided to get healthy this year. Even the one who has never struggled with Weight! The excitement I have for this, I can barely contain. She even made a closed group for us on Facebook so we can support each other at a distance.
It seems this is going to be a new year for all of us.
