Speaking of healthy Foods

One of my favorites foods are egg whites...I bake 14 eggs a week and have at least 2 egg whites everyday..Egg whites are very low in calories, have not fat , no carbs and 7 grams of protein in 2 whites.........

I blog about healthy foods and eating 6-7 mini meals a day and thought I would share one favorite mini meal.......

My 10.00 am snack today was : 2 egg whites 0 fat 0 carbs 7gr. protein 34 cal.
1 slice of Bordens 0 fat 3 cabs 4gr. protein 30 cal.
fat free cheddar
cheese.
50 gr. bell pepper 0 fat 3 carbs. 1 protein. 13cal.
1 La Tortilla wrap 2 gr. fat 9 carbs 4 protein 50 cal.
low carb.

so if you add all this up... it's 127 calories.....16 grams of protein.... 2 gr. fat...15 carbs...

this is a very filling snack, has all the healthy thing, oh ya it also has 6 grams of fiber...
now what other healthy things can you eat for about 125 calories ....

I enjoy looking for foods I like that are filling and healthy...plus easy to make....
BTW I love the Borden fat free cheeses, they taste good, they melt good but they are not easy to find.
they make a killer fat free pepper jack cheese, I stock up when I can find it...I usually find the cheddar at wal mart

Turning your life around is not always easy...it takes time...it takes commitment....it's an adventure that is worth the work....
