Exercise Counts, But So Does Diet!

Yesterday I was determined to get to the gym after a brief hiatus. I took a "step" class which turned out to be stepping with weights, toning with weights and exercises with weights, with very little pure "step."
Not that I'm complaining--I know I need that ST--but I wish the instructor would inject a few more interesting segments into her choreography (if you can call it that)--and also, the class was exhausting!
And after all that exercise (including walking the dogs later in the day), I still gained a pound this morning! Have got to go light on those cookies and nuts!
I installed my new printer Tuesday and am amazed that it works wirelessly (as does my new iMac) and that I can print from other computers and my iPad! Progress is wonderful.
Am looking for a good movie DH and I can go to. Watched "Gone Girl" on Amazon Instant Video; a few days ago. I had been wanting to see it ever since I read the book, which was mesmerizing. The movie? Pretty faithful to the book, including the gross-out scenes. It was ok.
I saw that the local community theater is doing "Carousel" this weekend. Might try to catch it. Great music.
