Week2 Blog Valentine's Day favorite memory! Happy Hearts

Since my husband, Ray passed away almost 3 years ago. I no longer celcbrate Valentine's Day. I do have some favorite memories though I would like to share.

Ray was never very good at remembering my birthday or our anniversary. He was though a true romantic when it came to Valentine's Day. Our first Valentine's Day as a married couple. He took me to my favorite restaurant where he gave me my first collectible pocket dragon it was sitting among a bouquet of my favorite flowers. pink carnations. I had seen this pocket dragon in a collectible store a couple of weeks before Valentine's Day.

Then about 7 years ago I woke up to find that he had left to run some errands on Valentine's Day. He had left me a surprise waiting for me on my computer desk. It was a stuffed dog Dalmation instead of spots it had red hearts all over it. Between his paws was a card and around his neck was a heart shaped pendant. The card read to my Valentine you will always have my heart.
