Down for the count, but definitely not out!

So I ended up having to leave work early today because I was involved in a work accident. One of my co-workers was on a rider ( ride on pallet jack) and went into a pallet and realized he was stuck when he pulled it out. So he tried to put the pallet back in its original place and ended up hitting another pallet that in turn ran right into me. Hit my bad ankle dead on and kept on going until I landed on top of the pallet on my ride side. emoticon He didn't realize it until I fell that he had hit me( happened fast and it's hard to tell). I filed a claim and was advised to seek treatment. Had x-rays done on both my ankle and ribs. I got sent home with discharge papers for a sprained ankle and bruised ribs. I also have restrictions for work that will probably get me sent home. emoticon

My ribs hurt more than my ankle does. However, they did get to see how bad my ankle is from when I hurt it when I was in 8th grade. Chronic pain in my ankle. They wanted to put me in a boot and on crutches, I told them I didn't want either one. So tomorrow I have to make a follow-up appointment and see if I can actually work tomorrow, due to the restrictions I doubt it.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully I can get back to my workouts soon.

Hope everyones week is going good!
