Week 2 BSG Challenge Feb My Favorite Valentine's Gift

Friday, February 13, 2015

Now this may sound a little corny to some of you. I always considered my favorite Valetine's Gift being my husband Ray. You see I met Ray in June of 1987 thanks to a mutual friend. I have to admit that we didn't hit it off at first. In 1988 we went on our first date. By the following February we were dating on a regular basis. On Valentine's Day of 1989 Ray asked me to marry him.

We were married in a small wedding ceremony in my brother's backyard the following September. Ray was a true romantic and Valentine's Day was very special to us both. Ray gave me plenty of gifts over the years for Valentine's Day. Our life together was the best gift from him I ever received.

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!

Ray was a great husband it sounds like. What a nice story of the two of you dating and getting married! The two of you had a great relationship and I know you are grateful to have had as many years together that you did. He'll always live forever in your heart! emoticon

No matter how long or short you had time with your angel of a husband, you had more than I did.. So, I LOVE reading of your beautiful love and devotion from your hubby. You see, it IS quality, NOT quantity. Fortunately, you still have the devoted spirit of him with you right now.
I will never know such a relationship, so I know how cherished these things are to you.. I got a pang in my heart just reading about your St. valentine's day events with your love. Thank you.
