Rethinking My Goal

Saturday, February 21, 2015

I have been considering changing one of my goals. It is my goal of doing a blog post every day. I will use the tried and true method of listing the pluses and the minuses of doing a blog every day, and then make my decision. The nice thing about my dilemma is that this goal comes without obligation to anyone. I'll capture my analysis and my decision as a blog. That's one way to stay on track with my current goal, but will meet the parameters of a new goals also, which is a win for me either way.

I do enjoy your blogs, but if you feel stressed about writing them, you could always alternate with a Spark Journal entry. They took it away from the main page so it's very hard to find, but try this:
planner.asp and on the lower right hand side is a place for a journal entry. I tend to use it on days I have something to say to myself, but not really to everyone. Like if I'm grumpy, it's hard to write a nice blog, so I just grump in my own journal. Less pressure! emoticon

Or you could alternate one day blog, one day post in a forum. Or have a 3-day rotation. I think you could adjust your goal in many ways. Oooh, here's another one: on some days you're not blogging, write one thing you like about yourself on a slip of paper and put it in a jar. Keep doing that. Then on bad days, you've got a whole jar of why you're awesome.

I find it hard to come up with a daily topic.
