March 11, 2015 PRAY FOR PATIENCE

Prayer is a remarkable thing. Many pray without an answer. Or that’s what they think. Prayer does have its’ requirements from God. Anyone can pray but only those who are faithful will be heard. If our relationship with God isn’t right or we don’t believe He will answer, we will find our prayers hitting against an invisible wall. However, if we choose to live for God and have faith in Him, we can pray for patience and know He will hear and He will answer. We need to get our relationship right with God and then pray with faith that He will answer.

Matthew 21:22 “You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we pray today first to thank You for hearing our prayers. We pray for those who are lost or who have lost faith that they may find You again. And we pray for patience. We have situations in our lives right now where we can be more patient. We have people in our lives right now who we need to show patience and love. Help us today to recognize our flaws regarding patience and help us to grow in patience and be strengthened by You and Your word today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pray for patience today and have faith God will answer.

When we stray from doing God’s will, our prayers aren’t as powerful as when we are living for God.

A great relationship with God requires prayer but also requires faith and trust in Him.

When we get rid of all that is distracting us from God, we can better do His will and have faith He hears us when we pray.

Pray for others to have patience and to draw closer to God believing He will answer.

Colossians 1:11 “We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy,” (NLT)

Focus: Praying for patience will help us be more aware of it during our daily walk with God.
