March 20, 2015 WE DON’T HAVE TO DOUBT
We never know when a situation is going to happen where our world changes. It may be from a health issue we have and we are concerned about what may be wrong with us. It may be a financial situation we have and we don’t know where the money is going to come from. It may be a relationship problem or a job concern and we aren’t sure of what to do. Rather than letting these issues consume our minds, we need to seek peace. We need to practice patience with these interruptions in life, trust in God and wait for His answer.
John 14:1 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, life sometimes throws us a curve ball. Things will be going well and all of a sudden there is tragedy, there are problems or there are issues where we don’t know what to do. And because of these changes in our lives, we begin to doubt. We begin to worry. We begin to get angry. Help us to remember, however, to practice patience and give You our problems so You can give us peace. We know when we trust in You for the right outcome, we don’t have to doubt. Everything has a reason and whatever we are dealing with we know You are in control. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
When we are troubled, we need to trust God.
God is able to remove our doubt, our fear and our anger when we put our trust in Him.
When we trust in God and stop worrying about live, He will give us patience to wait for His answer.
When things in life aren’t going as we planned, we can trust in God for patience and know He has a plan.
We need to remember whatever we are suffering over right now is only temporary.
Romans 8:18 “Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.” (NLT)
Focus: To have patience when we are suffering requires we focus on God rather than our problems. There is no problem too big for Him.
