I have had a rough time since march of last year. I lost my job, i stopped my fibromyalgia medications completely and had to find work. I was very blessed to find a job after a month of searching. First i worked on an inpatient psychiatric unit. It was a great job, but really stressful and very exhausting. I missed doing health education and i missed working with people who wanted to get better. The job on the unit was a great job. But as a floor nurse, you were basically non stop doing , passing meds, charting, talking to pt, redirecting them, giving shots, sitting in rounds, dealing with people who were screaming and using profanity. I was literally on my feet for over 13 hours a day. My coworkers were so wonderful. But i missed what i used to do for a living. So, one day, i just had this thought, literally out of the blue at midnight. I was laying in my bed trying to sleep, but God just told me to get up and look at my hospital job site. There was a job opening in case management. I had been a case manager for ten years, i missed it so much. I thought the job was for case manager on the floors, which while not ideal, was still a great job. Well, the job was not for the floor, it was for health education, disease manager for employees . This was the job i lost, can you believe it? I applied, i interviewed and got the job. So, i joined the gym at my work so i can exercise, talk to people about healthy living and live the lifestyle. I am so blessed beyond measure. This job is the most amazing job in the world and i am in shock that i got it! So, now i can focus on getting well. I am going to the gym, eating healthy and losing weight. I joined the step challenge at work for april, i get paid to attend all the health classes the hospital offers . I get paid to live a healthy lifestyle and encourage others to do it. I am beyond blessed . God is faithful, he is loving, If you don't know him personally. please ask me. I would love to introduce to my savior, emoticon
