Smoothies made SUPER easy

This is going to be sort of a product review entry so if you don't like product reviews, you can move along to the next blog
I have been reading in several places how smoothies have helped people get servings of fruit and vegies more easily. All you need is some ingredients and a blender. I have one of the large blenders and it is such a pain in the rump to get it out, put it all together, then clean up for just one smoothie. I was looking in the small appliance aisle in my local grocery store and came across this little gem:
You make enough smoothie for 1 person, you can put a sports bottle lid on it and be on your way! I found it for $25. It comes with the bottom blending mechanism, a sports bottle, a sports bottle lid, and the lid to put on it that has the blades. You put in the ingredients, put the blade attachment on, turn the sports bottle a little to make the blender turn on, let it run for about a minute, and BOOM you got a smoothie for 1.
I put fresh fruit in containers in the freezer. That way the smoothie is nice and cold when done. This morning I made blackberry, almond milk, and chia seed smoothie with 2 packets of splenda. MMMMMM good! Yesterday I had kale, strawberry, chia seeds and splenda.
