Round 1 of the 21 day fix DONE!

Thursday, April 02, 2015

My round one was officially done March 29th, but my work has been so crazy that this has been my first opportunity to blog about it. I wasn't able to do it perfectly, but I still lost 4 inches and 4 pounds, not to mention that I can actually wear BOTH my wedding rings again. The top one, which is sized a little smaller, is still a tad tighter than I would like, but it's still comfortable to wear the whole day, so all is well. It's funny, because I'm still heavier than my post-Dominic all time low (sadly only 180) but my rings still didn't fit then and I'm pretty sure my face wasn't as thin and my inches weren't this small. Yeah muscles!! Anyways, if you're reading this and wondering if you should give it a try: DO IT! I'm going to keep going with the program until I reach my goal weight and/or size.

Official round 2 starts April 13th, so I'm hoping to follow it more closely then and get all the workouts in. In all fairness, it was maybe silly to start when I knew I had a show at the end of the 21 days, but I still couldn't stand not doing something about my health. I'm sure glad I didn't!

As I'm writing this I'm actually feeling really positive. However, its that time of month and I've been feeling very hormonal for the last 3 days. I though there would be more ranting. . . hmm. My tendency to cheat is WAY higher at this time, but the shakeology seems to be doing its thing and I know my cravings are a lot worse without it. It sucks that shakeology is so expensive, but I've decided to stick with it until I reach my goals, then I'll transition out of it or try and find a replacement that is cheaper. Now that I'm reaching 30 days on the stuff, my need for coffee has been almost eliminated. I wake up every morning with so much energy, it's crazy!
