Busy eight day

Sunday, April 12, 2015

Well it was a really busy week. out late and something happening every day, mostly good.
It all started to kick off Saturday of last week (Easter). It started with me being asked to go up to a friends for a take a way. A late night before we all knew it. A great time was had by all.

Sunday night four of us went to dinner, my fiends wife cooking. We sat down at 7 and the next thing we all knew it was getting on for 12. As we had a car show the next morning we decided to call it a night.

Easter Monday
The car show we had to be there at 0900, so after two late nights we all had an early morning.

The care show was great but long on our feet but looking around took our minds off of that.

Don't know what this is but nice

This was fairly easy as it was catch-up from the things I couldn't do Good Friday. That is until the evening. The 3 of us went out for a drink and stay late. Another late night, four on the trot.

We (the three of us) went for a 20 mile bike ride. Now I can do 20 mile in about one to two hours no problem because of all the exercise I do. Not so the other two, totally unfit and don't care. This 20 miles took 5 hours with a 20 minute break for lunch. Now that did do me in and took three days to get over.

As you can see below I took it easy.

I did go to my club in the evening but left early.

Friday was shopping and getting things done day, until the evening when I had another club night. Not too late this time but late none the less.

This was one of those event evening that my Astronomy club put on an event for the public. Part of our BBC 2 Stargazing Live programs that happens one a year. So it was out again this week.

It was not too bad as we only had 30 or 40 people along, we handle it well but another late night

Well that brings me to today. I am taking a few days rest and hope to get back on track next Sunday with the Virtual 5k and from there on who know.

A good hard week in all. Make your week a good one

Yes Hannah I can walk faster that they can most of the time. I had thought of doing the same run on my own just to see how fast I would have been. Going on what I normally do It would be around 90 minutes.

    I will try it sometime.

    Thanks for your comments.

Wow, I emoticon old cars, you lucky guy!

That turned out to be a long bike ride. I hear it's harder to go slower, it sounds like it must be true. You could probably have walked beside them! At least they were getting out. Maybe they'll start to want to do more of it, who knows?

Great photos! You always take great photos. I think it's so cool that you're in an astronomy club. emoticon emoticon

I'm tired reading about your week lol...You had good times for sure, but I can see why you need a few days to yourself. Love the orange car. Bob's telescope is nice. My Hubby has one, but it isn't that big. We have fun with it just the same. Take care!
