Happy foods and hanger

I get "hangry" all the time! I am a huge stress eater and through the years I've really noticed how my stress levels and hunger levels are connected. I have certain "happy" foods that my body really loves and when I'm stressed and grumpy it's a good idea to eat them. Mine are salmon, avocados, and steak (not as often, but right now I'm desperately feeling the need for it!!). I love carbs and sweets of course, and I do crave them, but I find they just don't actually calm the hanger. Do you have any foods like that? Or am I just weird?
Today I didn't follow my body's rhythms and I really paid for it. I'm doing the 21 day fix and drinking shakeology, but I find that it just doesn't work well for me as a meal replacement. However, it is awesome for my huge 2-4pm snack attack of hanger!! Anyway, I had it for breakfast, got hungry by 10:30, didn't have a snack planned, ate a bit too much McDonalds, even though I did order healthier choices. Made a good supper but had some chocolate and chips because the hanger just continued throughout the day and I'd had enough of fighting it.
I'm also really stressed out because I have two music festivals in the next two weeks. My calendar makes me want to crawl into a hole. I am counting down the days until I'm done teaching. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my students and I enjoy teaching, but some weeks the calendar piles up leaving me wishing I'd said no to more things.
