Getting Back to Reality....

After taking many months off from my fitness focus & healthier lifestyle, it is time for me to get back to reality.
Everyone has their own problems, issues and obstacles in life. Over the last many months, I have let these issues (with family members) and worries pull me off track. I got so stressed and wrapped up in other things, that I started to slip away. I can't let that happen. So, I am getting back to reality!
That means back to healthy eating (resulting in my having soooo much more energy), and returning to fitness, as a daily stress-buster.
Looking back, I am proud of my healthy accomplishments (before letting family illness sabotage my efforts):
* I ran a 5k
* I learned to scuba diving
* I competed in a 250 km bike ride for charity
* I lost weight
The reality is, being healthy makes me happy. I have more energy, and I get more done. Having discussed these facts with myself over the last little while, I have been making some healthier choices, and am ready to recommit to my life. I have to live for me! And so I shall...I wogging step at a time! :)
