omigosh a running streak!

I think this is week 6 of my self-designed program to gradually work up to 20 miles. I did NOT meet my mileage goal last week, but I stayed in the game. Early in that week my body was giving me too many fatigue messages and much of my time was dedicated to music performances. This week is off to a good start. While I'm in my 3rd day of the new week, today marks 5 days in a row where I've gone at least 2 miles. While I'm not running for 2 miles straight (it's a run/walk thang), today in the 5th day after my 5 minute warm-up I did run consistent for the first mile. Now, the goal is to have the stamina for 5 miles/day, but this is amazing progress. my body hasn't previously been able to handle the repeat exercise. To meet this week's goal, I plan to make the streak 6 days in a row, as in, I plan to run again tomorrow and then have a day away.
I didn't know I could do this, but I'm doing it!
