Feeling great while sick

The stress, insane hours and lack of sleep last week due to the craziness at work hit me. I got sick. Surprise surprise.
After two days of being down and out, and only being able to work out twice last week, I was beginning to get worried about losing the momentum I've been building since starting this thing three and a half weeks ago. So I finished my cup of black tea and decided to give the treadmill a try. I figured if I could walk for ten minutes, at least it was something.
After five minutes, I wasn't feeling too bad at all. In fact, my sinuses cleared up a little, actually making it easier to breathe. With the memory of last week's milestone of jogging a mile non-stop for the first time in over five years, and the determination not to lose my momentum, I started to jog.
One mile went by... And I was doing ok! So I started setting little goals to hit... A mile and a quarter... Another 25 calories to burn... Another minute. And before I know it, I had jogged two miles! TWO Miles! I can't believe it! Probably a decade since I've done that, at least!
I ended up jogging two miles non stop, then continued jog/walking until I made it an hour. I just did an hour of cardio... While sick... And I can't remember the last tme I've felt this good. Physically I'm ok. But mentally I feel FABULOUS!
I really CAN do this. That momentum just got a huge kickstart!
