I've been gone for a long while, almost a year I believe. I was coming on, checking in on groups but not really taking part. I'm happy to say that I did hit 196, my second lowest weight while on sparks and for about 6 months I stayed between there and 213. At that time I was working out and weight lifting and so I didn't really care about the gain since everything was fitting the same. Then I started swelling up really badly and was at 218. My trainer said to forget about it as a "weight gain" and I did. Then I had several injuries and had to stop working out. Even with that said and done, a year after reaching 218 I was sitting at 220, only a 2 pound gain. I managed to keep off 37 pounds for over a year and that is the best I've ever done on not regaining the weight back. I was still at 220 come Jan and then hit 232 this March. Then April came and something went really, really wrong.
I jumped from 232 to 263 by May 1st.
Yes, that is about 30 pounds in 1 month.
I don't know what happened. I even had a full 7 days of eating clean challenge in which only one day did I cook from a box. It was a writing month and I had plenty of snacks. I can also say that I jumped back on soda.
But 31 pounds in a month? You have got to be kidding me!
I weighed in at the start of every month so I knew it was the month of April. Right then I decided that it was time to get back on track.
Today starts week 2 and I'm already 11 pounds down. I'm hoping to hit 20 pounds gone by the end of this month.
I won't be here daily but I'm aiming for 3 days a week and more blogging and status updates.
