To Create each day

Ya know...often it's easy to just ignore Sparkpeople. So easy to just not click or spin or track. Or walk or play. With the rain we've been having, all I want to do is read and lounge (which sounds so much better than crawl into bed and pull the sheet over my head). Not signing in means I don't have to 'fess up to slugdom and snacking. To not writing or practicing the piano. To not working towards any of the not so lofty goals I've set. An acquaintance posted this on her Facebook this morning:
Every Instant, Creation
Creation, we are taught, is not an act that happened once upon a time, once and for ever. The act of bringing the world into existence is a continuous process. God called the world into being, and that call goes on. There is this present moment because God is present. Every instant is an act of creation.Abraham Heschel

A continuous, never ending, constantly beginning process. We are free to create ourselves and our world each day, each moment. So, once more, I'll begin as I will each day. Some days I'll be brave and look closely at where I am and what I'm doing. Others I may just spend in bed, metaphorically and possibly actually.
