Whirlwind Vacation

Wednesday, May 20, 2015

Well it has been a while since I have updated but so much has been going on. I was consistently relosing the regained weight and once again fell off the wagon due to lack of motivation. I also knew that my vacation was coming up and that it could give me a chance to revitalize and relax and get back in touch with myself. Granted I still had school work in between but at least no stress from work on top of it. I started out my vacation with going to a rehearsal dinner and then the next day, being the Maid of Honor in my friends wedding. While there were some things that bothered me that happened, overall it was a nice wedding and I did end up enjoying myself. Their honeymoon is going to be in Mexico so I can't wait to see the photos from there. Next was my friends graduation. I wasn't able to stay to see her walk but there was almost 9,000 people graduating and we had to get to our hotel. I did take pictures of the stadium where she was at though. Then, onward to Nashville Tennessee! The hotel I booked was 10 minutes away from Broadway. I also got to see the country music hall of fame and we also went to rca records where my boyfriend almost passed out because he was able to touch the piano that Elvis and Ronnie Milsap played. We also ventured to the Nashville zoo and walked over the pedestrian bridge and took pictures of the city and the river. Even went around on a horse pulled carriage ride. Came home for a day of recooperation and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday was all about the music! Rock on the Range was about to happen and it's three days of nonstop bands. I got to see Judias Priest live, which my boyfriend was very excited about seeing, and a lot of other banda I have been wanting to see. Needless to say I got some color, but I reapplied sunblock so many times that I didn't burn nearly as bad and it's tanning over nicely. Now I'm back at work and I have my motivation back and I'm packing my lunches again and drinking more water. Fresh start. The good news is is that I'm not starting completely over, my weight has held as a constant since I was so active during my vacation. I enjoyed every minute of it too.
