Day 1: DDPyoga

Yesterday our DDPyoga came in the mail. Time to get this ball rolling! Hubby reset the alarm for 5:30am instead of 6am and said tomorrow is the day. I made him watch the breathing video and practice breathing before bed. He was like, I've been breathing for 30 years, I think I have that down. I told him, you have been breathing wrong for 30 years. He learned that quickly from watching the video. It took him 3 tried to get the breathing down.

So this morning we woke up on the slow go. I really just wanted to sleep more. I hadn't had the best night of sleep. I was having weird dreams and me and the cat were fighting over who got what space. But, we got up and threw on some clothes and were introduced to the diamond dozen. I might do this tomorrow as well just to make sure I have the proper timing and muscle use going on before moving to the real exercise videos. The diamond dozen is definitely not a workout. But it was nice to start with a slow tutorial explaining the core moves slowly and how to engage all the correct muscles when performing them.

I was amazed that I had a bead of sweat roll down my back at the end. It's amazing to do cardio at zero impact. I think my biggest struggle will be the slow burn push ups!
