Another good day.
I say that as I watch 9pm approaching and knowing that this is around the time of night the night time creepy crawlers come out.
Not bugs or spiders....but thoughts, and cravings.
I stuck to my plan last night and didnt give in to snacking desires.
and I still have calories left for the day.
I always try to save some calories for my nightly glass of milk.
Maybe a yogurt.
So, I did my little "gotta start somewhere" workout again this evening.
I havent walked in two days now but I plan to get up really early in the am and go!!!
The heat and humidity are bad right now and I know if I dont get finished and off that track by at least 9am, I will regret it.
I am thinking 730!!!
And in other news.
I got my hair done today. I decided it was time for a change, and so I went to a new stylist and had it done alot blonder than I normally do.
I like it, but its hard to get used to looking in the mirror.
I feel good about it. Sometimes we need to do something like this to change things up.
Add a new workout, read a new book, listen to a new band. Go to a new store or restaurant, etc.
And especially something personal, like trying a new color or a new item of clothes.
I hope everyone who feels stuck in a rut, no matter what kind of rut, will try something different and totally out of their comfort zone.
Recently my son and I went out to an asian restaurant and for the first time, I tried calamari.
I cant say I liked it or didnt.
But I had never had it.
After getting my hair done, I stopped at the dollar store and realized I was getting hungry, it was lunch time and so I was browsing the snack aisles, trying to get some idea of a snack.
and I got a box of Fiber One lemon bars.
I love lemon flavored anything.
I ate two, at 90 calories each and came home and had a beef jerkey stick.
Not the most nutritional lunch, but at least I chose something lower calorie.
A good idea is to keep low calories snacks in ones car for those cravings.
of course in my car you might find a puddle, because I have no air conditioner.
So that is my rambling for tonight.
Tomorrow I am going to try a dunkin donuts iced coffee that I bought at my local grocery.
200 calories, so that is going to be my sweet indulgence. AFTER my walk.
