the not so great but no so bad sweaty hot day.

Thursday, June 11, 2015

Comparing today to the last couple of successful days, I will say it ranks only about one point down.
While I did go over my calories, by only a few, I ate healthy.
I got my protein and drank my water and so I feel pretty good about it.
I got up out of bed at just after 6 am and went to the walking track.
I was really dragging. My bones didnt seem to want to go. But they did. I got my full hour in and felt pretty good about it.
Plans are to get up and go in the morning again.
So while today wasnt as great as the last two days, I am ok.
I have my mind set to stick to this and work out and walk and eat healthy.
I will have to adjust my calories a little more.
I heard from my doctors office concerning my blood work. My vitamin d still hasnt come back yet, but, my b12 was high according to the test. 1157. She told me normal was 700 to 1100. But she told me not to be worried about it, because its water soluable and my body gets rid of the rest.
My glucose was 86. But to my surprise the doc didnt do an a1c.
Not that I am a diabetic, but she normally does one.
I need to find out what my cholesterol was and get the vitamin d back and see where I am.

Hope everyone is staying cool.
Today it reached about 95 here and its just that humid kind of heat where you cant stand to be out in it very long.
I have a friend who I write letters back and forth with, yes, we write real letters on real paper and put them in real envelopes.
So today I sat on the front porch where the light was good and tried to write.
But the sweat was rolling down into my eyes so bad.
I am staying in front of the a/c on days like this.

Congratulations on pushing yourself even when your mind wasn't in the mood. That's the way to do it! Your glucose is in the normal range - let's keep it that way! Have a great weekend!

In hot, humid weather, early walks are the way to go. Good for you for staying so committed to your fitness regimen emoticon .
