Stepping off the scales and into a new life

Are you obsessed with the scales? Are they only thing you think about throughout the day?

Time to get off of them and realize there are other things that you can test for losing that weight. The first of course is you are getting healthier. Who doesn't want to be healthy right? Of course we can't forget having to buy new clothes because the inches have suddenly disappeared from our bodies in the twinkling of an eye. And oh yes,, what about the endurance and confidence you are beginning to build? Those are such great things to have. And yet,, those darn scales emoticon haven't moved an ounce.

My point is this.. there are many other ways than scales to judge how far you have come. It's not about those numbers. It’s about how you look and feel.
So the next time you are tempted to jump on your scales every single day, think about the other ways you are becoming healthy. Don't get down on yourself either if they don't move like you want to. Stay strong with your program. You'll eventually get there.
