First I want to thank everyone who read and commented on last nights blog.
I am sure the title was a little misleading, since the overall subject was vitamin d. and not a ghost.
Today was a pretty decent day.
While I hit that old snooze button one too many times, I did get up and get to the walking track.
I walked an hour and it was good.
Came home and laid out in the sun for about half an hour. Mostly for that vitamin d.
and maybe a little for the tan factor.
Not that I will be going on vacation this year. But I still like that glow.
Then after coming inside, there was a knock on the door. My long lost, well, not so much lost, but moved to West Va son, came for a visit.
Then he used my laptop to work on his college paper and my laptop has for about a month had a crack in the frame or whatever the heck the part that goes around the screen is called.
It isnt broken. I can use it fine, but I dont close it, I just log out and shut it down.
I have no idea how it got that way. But my son tried to work on it and he knows about as much about fixing a computer as I do.
I had one tech guy tell me it was a costly repair, and would be about like replacing the whole screen.
Another told me its about a 15 dollar fix and will take about an hour to fix.
I am going to give that a try and he is supposed to come work on it tomorrow.
So, now I think my son is mad at me, not reallyyyyyy mad, but peeved. Because when I moved stuff out of the old place, I decided to downsize and declutter.
I guess he had a couple of garbage bags of clothes. and while I went thru the bags and kept anything I deemed keepable. I did donate a garbage bag full to the local church giveaway.
and another bag, that I deemed nothing he would want, I gave to the men who were working helping get the place cleaned out.
All in all, I only kept about 6 shirts and 2 pairs of pants, I did keep his school jacket and some long sleeve sweaters,
Now keep in mind, these clothes had been stored there since at least November, and some much longer.
I feel I did the right thing.
Maybe not.
I am not going to stress over it. He works two jobs and they both require him to wear a uniform, so its not like hes gonna go naked.
And on that note, I will go.
Hope everyone had a good day.

Your house, your choice what to keep, I say. My mom-in-law (who keeps a lot of stuff) is slowly sending all my husband's childhood stuff home with MY kids a few toys at a time. I have an army's worth of critically wounded GI Joes now. I gotta credit the woman with creative strategy!

I have a twenty five year old son, so I get it. He'll get over it! The worn out clothes were probably truly worn out! Boys have an interesting definition of wearable clothing. If they were his and he wanted and needed them they should have been with him. He probably really has no idea what exactly was in the bags. Like I said, he get over it. I hope the cheap computer fix works for you! Good luck
