Today was definitely different and it was SO nice having approximately two hours of time to visit with another mom without kids around. The older girls took the kids to a park not far from their house so we Carolyn and I could do our student council planning and chat. Refreshing.....

Before we headed there I was able to get most of the kids' usual schoolwork finished. Isaac was still in "I'm right" mode somewhat, but got him turned around a bit on his long division so he could work it correctly...most of the time. I'll take most of time over being so intent on being right that nothing is correct.

Once we arrived at our friend's place we enjoyed a lunch of veggie pasta salad, watermelon and gluten-free blueberry muffins. So good! I know my kids didn't appreciate it nearly as much as I did, but it was a healthy, light lunch that was easy on the Spark Nutrition Tracker!

I was so thankful that Carolyn and I were on the same page regarding much of our plans and thoughts as I knew that I truly was seeing God's guidance. At times I really question anything to do with the teens because of Maegann's struggle to fit in and the Director side of things having to deal with so many behaviors last year. Now I know to keep praying and moving things in certain directions. Nothing difficult. Just needed some confirmation before acting.

Once home (4:30) I got busy working on supper (baked chicken and green salad) and then had an hour to do some email and sparking while finishing up the Master Chef episode I started yesterday. I'm always a week behind watching online. We played games again tonight after supper was cleaned up and Isaac did very well again. Tonight we played a new game called Qbitz (a logic game) and it was hard! Trying to make our cubes match the pattern given. Tim is way too good at it though! We then played a few rounds of Pit and this is the first time Isaac has ever been able to handle holding playing cards successfully. Maybe we're turning a little corner on some dexterity and desire to play games with the family. That would be wonderful. Now we're watching an episode of Star Trek (Tim has Isaac hooked on them now.) and Maegann's upstairs reading before bedtime.

I received my doTerra box today too and it is always like Christmas. I was able to get some free items this time and also ordered several sample packs for giveaways for an online class I'll be doing and took advantage of the monthly discount on one of the oils and got two of them.

Tomorrow is school with the kids, gym time and taking Isaac to physical therapy. I am hoping for some time alone to work at my desk too.
