Making The Most of Today!
Monday, August 17, 2015
Every day of our lives we must make the choice to change. We never know when our last day will come! Yesterday at the Living History Event, the last day did come for one of the re-enactors. During preparations for today's "battle in the woods, this wonderful gentleman suddenly collapsed and expired doing what he loved.
Today his example encourages me to make the following choices today:
1. I will make a small step forward for my health. I will eat like my life depends on it, and I will get in my daily walk. Today I will also go for my kayak ride. This is a healthy and fun choice!
2. I will make a small step forward for my financial freedom. I'm going to set aside a small amount of money for that special time when I can be with my little grandchild Lina.
3 I will make a small step forward in how I spend my time. I will make my day count by appreciating my friends, family and those around me. I am not going to waste time on drama and gossip.
Today just might be the best day of my life! I'm going to make the most of it!
