Weigh-In, Triple D Rant / NSV, and a Body Image 'Moment'

Hmmm, now that I read that title, that is an odd mash-up of topics. ;-)
Well, it has been a good month so far - I weighed in this past weekend at 169 lbs! I am officially 28 lbs down from my starting weight of 197 back in April 2015. I have increased my workouts in the past month, and now that I've re-introduced 30-Day Shred back into my life, my body is loving it.
Triple D Rant & NSV:
My husband and I were watching Triple D reruns last Friday, and we were surprised they featured a restaurant in Houston - very exciting, as I had not seen this episode before! It is a Bosnian/Mediterranean-esque restaurant called Cafe Pita, and one of their locations is fairly close to our home, so we just had to try it out on Saturday. Well, we showed up around 1pm, and waited approximately 10 minutes to be acknowledged (!!!)/seated - and the service just got worse from there. I have worked in restaurants and bars before, so I totally understood that they would be busier than usual after the airing of the rerun, but the issues at this restaurant were out-of-control during our visit. The servers had an 'I don't give a s&%#' attitude, and it showed. Horrible service aside, the food was very good - when they didn't substitute items without consulting with you. You see, I ordered the chicken kebab, with grilled veggies and basmati rice - smart choices for dining out, right? What I received was chicken kebab, grilled veggies, and FRENCH FRIES. Yep, you read that right. FRENCH FRIES. A huge, greasy mountain of them. I was not happy at all, since I was not informed they were out of rice (or whatever the issue was), or asked about a substitution. I removed the fries from my plate, and put them in the bread basket. I would've said something to a server, if she ever came back to our table - we did not receive one drink refill or have one server check on us while we were there - the servers chose to bus tables instead of taking care of the 4 tables that actually had customers. Ok, I need to stop ranting about this - I won't bore you guys with the rest of the details - let's just say I won't be returning to Cafe Pita anytime soon, and I will definitely be contacting management about my experience. And I guess the point of me writing this whole thing about Cafe Pita is there's an NSV in here: I ordered smart foods and pushed away the fries! I also only ate half of my chicken kebabs, and took the rest home - success!
A Body Image 'Moment':
I started Level 3 of 30-Day Shred on Saturday morning, and it was a solid workout. But, here's my body image moment - while I was doing my workout, especially the plank moves, plyometric stuff, and anything that required me to jump around like a wild woman on fire, I could see all the fat on my thighs, stomach, and arms just jiggling all over the place, and I was sad to see all that - it was a wanky moment, since the only person I can blame for the creation of that fat, is me. And then I got PISSED. The sadness was a fleeting thing, as I reminded myself that I am 28 lbs down, and I am pleased with that number thus far. But I plan on taking the anger element, and channeling that back into my workouts, because I am not at the end of my journey, and I can still make additional positive changes to my body, and will focus on toning up as much as possible. My eating is still going well, with most days under my caloric limit.
Overall, I'm doing pretty good. I am so so SO ready for this heat wave to end, as I would love to do some cardio outside - heck, at our current temps, it's even too warm to swim in our pool (I know, I know, first world problem ;-).) I'm ready for fall!
