Never worry, never fear---'coz I'm here!

Tuesday, August 18, 2015

Some days I worry --a lot----
....about everything-----
Will himself get sick and then die?--(He is old!)----(but he IS healthy.....now!)---
Will the month run out before the money does?----(It never does .......but, it could!)
Will we have enough money to retire with?-------(so far...so good!).......
Will I be able to handle the "aging thing""----gracefully?-----
Will my kids remember me--forever and for always as a nice person?
I worry even about worrying......
Lord love a duck!

Sparking helps-----keeps stuff in perspective----reminds me that there are others out there with the same sorta lifestyles----trying to be kind to their himself when they have to shout ""Good morning"" 67 times, as he hears something pretty different.
Sparking reminds me to keep the ol' body moving--(It might seize up if one doesn't)-
Sparking reminds me, that "the whiter the bread, the sooner yr're dead", as I run through those wonderful smells in the local bakery section of the grocery.
Sparking brings friends to my house where I live , (in the bush)--I suppose you could say that Sparking keeps me sane----in a crazy world!--Youza!

    I have learned to not worry; although I do feel concerned about some matters - at which time I find great peace of mind as I turn them over to my Sovereign Lord God, There is much peace of mind in knowing that He is in control of every aspect of my life & that He has all the answers to my concerns. Plus, He truly cares about everything that concerns my loved ones & me!

    I remember years ago a time when a dark spot was reported on an x-ray of my beloved father-in-law's lungs. For literally weeks, he let that fact overshadow every aspect of his days. Then it was discovered that the film had been flawed & a retake x-ray showed nothing to even been concerned about, much less to rob one of any peace-of-mind. His choice to worry was a choice to waste many minutes, hours, days of his life that could have been spent in a much more enriching way. That was a lesson to me in not allowing worry to overtake my days & to instead, like the song says, emoticon "Take it to the Lord in Prayer" emoticon

    God bless!

    Holy Moly . . you get a LOT of people that reply to your blogs!

    Worry is like Fear and a Dream . . it's all behind the eyes and between the ears . .

    Here is what helps me immensely!

    It is what it is!

    Nothing happens 'for a reason'! (If someone was in charge and stuff goes 'bad'.. then someone dropped the ball) Things happen and we have to 'deal' with it! (There is a reason for things happening.. yet I don't believe it is all 'orchestrated')

    I found principles that guide me through anything and everything as well as offer solutions to any and all circumstances!

    Here is a rendition of an 'Old Classic' that makes sense for me as well as make everything simplistic!

    May the Power of the Universe offer me the peace of mind to take as fact the circumstances that I have no control over.. The desire to make a difference in the circumstances I do have control over.. And the knowledge based on my experiences to know what I can and cannot control

    You may know it better as . .

    The Serenity Prayer

    God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;

    courage to change the things I can;

    and wisdom to know the difference.

    I hope you can find solutions and peace of mind!

    The only consolation about worry (other than doing something about it) is that you are aware of when and how much you worry. I have tried to work hard not to worry - if I can't do anything about a situation I have to turn it over to the Universe and get on with my life. But my body doesn't always figure it out. When the worry sits unacknowledged it does into my back, which has gotten thrown out of place and caused the muscles to spasm. Ouch! I share your concerns and frustrations with Himself. Keep your sense of humor; yours is wonderful and will get you through a lot of worry issues. Have a great day!

    I'm pretty good at not "borrowing trouble"; in other words, I try not to worry about what might happen... I wait until it actually does.

    My mother was a champion worrier to the point it sometimes drove us crazy. I must have my father's non worry gene (is there such a thing or is it learned behavior? And if learned behavior, why did I not learn it from my mother?) Anyway his belief was that you deal with what comes. That does not mean he did not worry about his family, his business or anything else but he turned the worry into a plan of action, unlike my poor mom who just worried all the time. I tried to tell her that people worry about 99% of things that will never happen but she never listened. emoticon

    Funny too that my kids think I worry overly much, especially the girls because when they were in college I had a rule that they had to call when leaving to drive home, call along the road (they went to colleges a few hours away from us) and the reverse on going back. they did not believe me when I tried to tell them that was not worry so much as safety.

    Worry Not!!! Live in the moment!! But then couldn't one also worry in the moment??
    ARRGHH too early in the morning to be philosophical.

    Just have a great day!! emoticon

    I try not to get into a worry mode as it feeds on itself and grows larger than life. Just too many "what ifs" and it boggles the mind.
