Get this day started!

Wednesday, August 19, 2015

I took this picture this morning---still dark at 6am----
The summer is slowly--on its way out---

Beau, the jumbo 5-6 month old German puppy (as in Shepherd)-was already awake---chomping at the bit to get out-

also Tess

To-day I shall get on that Treadmill---Beau now has overcome his fear of stairs and goes down to our gym with me---He has grown a lot---is now taller than Tess--the resident 5 yr old German!
So.....Himself is in the kitchen "wolfing down" his mammoth breakfast----

I need this little fella to get me moving this morning--Lord Love A Duck--Some days are darker----harder to get going!

Strong thoughts here ---

Sounds like a pleasant start to your Wednesday, Lynda. Beau & Tess both look so at home - which they actually are! There is no place like home - true for most humans & hopefully for our much loved pets.

We were up & going at 6:30 this morning - took our "Little Gal" out for her early morning walk/run & then headed out to get her eye treatment for this morning over with. She is extremely good having the tech "fuss" with her. Thankfully it is a quick procedure. Once home it was playing a game "fetching of the balls" (a delight for us all), next was breaking the overnight fast for all three of us emoticon , then another walk emoticon , & since then we have all been doing our own "things". For "Little Gal" that is snoozing, outdoor jobs for my MrV, & household chores for this gal. I am feeling quite accomplished to get so much completed in such a short span of time. Now I am visiting here in "Sparkville" until it is time to prepare our noonday meal in about twenty minutes.

    God bless you, Lynda!

Amazing how much shorter the days are already. We've had to change the timer on our automatic timer to come on earlier in the evening.

Yes, too soon the nights are encroaching on our days.
Enjoy the still early-ish morning light while it lasts.
Sunrise is such a peace-filled time of day,
'cuz most everyone else is still snoring away.

Positive thoughts coming to you Lynda. You're going to have another good day.

I've noticed how it is getting dark much earlier at night and it is dark much later in the mornings. A definite sign that we need to fill in each day with a lot of Summer things! Let some of the housework go, jump in that lake and have a swim and fun! The house will wait for you and so will the grass!

Happy Hump Day!!! Seems like such a slow week and I am wishing it went by faster since it has not been a good work week so far.

I am feeling especially nostalgic today. This would have been my mother's 95th birthday. I am so still missing her these past 13 years. emoticon She would be the first one to tell me to dry my tears and focus on the happy memories and then worry if the memories of her were actually happy ones. No worries there. She was a great lady and one terrific mother.

Good to hear that Beau finally overcome his fear of stairs. It is always so cute to watch them try out stairs the first few times. The bluetick hound we had years ago would not go into the basement. Once my himself was walking him and brought him through the outside basement door and the dog (Banditt was his name) went berserk and took off for the basement stairs. Never could figure out why he was so afraid of the basement. Dogs have such personalities and likes and dislikes just like we do.

    Have a happy day. emoticon

So . . . all is perking along on this Monday morning. I am not liking the earlier sunsets and more darkness either. UGH But it's part of the cycle -- right! Well, we can keep telling ourselves that.

Glad Himself is eating his mammoth breakfast. All is sounding better in his health world.

    HUGS and happy Wednesday.
