Another year older, another year healthier

I turn 32 tomorrow. I'm SERIOUSLY dreading having to admit that. My age hits me really hard, and I'm not sure why. It started when I turned 25, and each year gets tougher and tougher. I know I am MUCH healthier than I have ever been and can experience much more than I did before, but every morning I look at the wrinkles forming under my eyes, I start to freak out a bit.
During year 2 of my journey, I got a bit comfortable in where I was in my journey and started enjoying celebrations a lot more than I had in year one. This resulted in a 9 lb. loss over the entire year. A loss is a loss, but after losing 111 lbs. in year one, it was definitely a significant slow down. I usually swing within a 10 lb range when I start to relax, and after a Vegas vacation in January of this year, I was at the very tippity top of that 10 lb. swing pretty much wiping out a whole years worth of hard work. As when I started this journey after coming home from Vegas in February 2013, I got back to work.
I started eating low carb for the first time, and I haven't looked back. I'm obviously not losing at the pace I was in year 1, but in year 3 I have lost that 10 I was up and an additional 20 putting me at 140 lbs lost. I really like the low carb eating and have found it's not quite as hard for me as I thought it would be. I don't have the cravings I did before and even though tomorrow is my dreaded birthday, I really have no desire to indulge in cake, ice cream, cookies, etc to celebrate. My idea of celebrating would be a nice quiet evening at home with someone else making dinner :)
