hot and steamy blog

Tuesday, September 15, 2015

Very little exercise today. Sitting here with my back pressed against the heating pad for the first time in ages.
Usually a good hot epsom salt soak and a couple of aleve works. But the back is aching overtime this evening.
No muscle pulls or twists or any kind of injury. Just the everyday wear and tear I guess.
I did a few overhead pulls and lateral raises and chest presses.
That wasnt the cause of the back ache.
I look forward to my early morning walk. I already have my alarm set and nothing short of the zombie apocolypse or a closed road is going to keep me from that track.
Hope everyone is having a nice evening.

I've had my share of back issues, so I'm feeling your pain. I would suggest a foam roller, but you need to go easy with it. There are differences between aches and pains, and you don't want to make a pain worse. Could it be your sciatic nerve? The discomfort would be in your lower back and a glute, and then it would radiate down the back of your leg. Hope you feel better soon!
